Testimonials

  • “We’re so lucky we found her when we did!”

Lauren is an amazing tutor! Lauren tutored our daughter in honors chemistry this year and we’re so lucky we found her when we did. In just 3 lessons, she helped bring Emily's grade up from a B- (and trending downwards) to a solid B+ by the end of the year. Lauren is engaging and knowledgeable, and always made time for us in her schedule. She is truly invested in our daughter's success as she helped to make Emily feel supported and confident in a subject she was struggling with. We can't recommend her enough!

  • “She helped me improve my grade from a B to an A in just a few months!”

I started tutoring with Lauren to improve my grade in college-level chemistry, solidify my understanding of the concepts, and apply them to real-world issues, particularly clinically related topics. Working with Lauren gave me the structure I was looking for. Over time, I noticed that I could connect interrelated topics, such as mathematics and theory, with less discomfort. If I was low on energy or disheartened by the outcome of a test, she listened and adapted to both my academic needs and current headspace. Her encouragement and accountability helped me improve my grade from a B to an A in just a few months!

  • “Lauren is a rare find!”

My daughter has commented that it’s apparent Lauren genuinely enjoys tutoring because her personality style is warm, approachable, and patient. She provides clear explanations and thoughtful guidance to help my daughter understand key concepts in chemistry, not just memorize formulas. Before working with her, my daughter would become easily frustrated with chemistry. Now, she feels more confident! Every tutoring session, Lauren provided consistent encouragement and made lessons applicable and enjoyable. Lauren’s lessons helped my daughter maintain consistently strong grades throughout the school year. She is a rare find.

  • “My only regret is that I didn't start working with her sooner!”

It was really helpful to work with Lauren this year leading up to my AP Bio exam. She had a very clear understanding of the content, as well as the exam structure and strategy. At school, I didn't get a lot of one-on-one instruction, so talking through concepts with Lauren was incredibly helpful. My time with her gave me a lot of confidence going into the exam. I got a 4, and my only regret is that I didn't start working with her sooner!
